Access Bank Staff Secretly Filmed 400 Videos Of Naked Colleagues In Office Restroom

Stephen Ifeanyichukwu Ejezie, who used to work at Access Bank’s contact centre in Oniru, Lagos, was caught secretly filming his colleagues in the restroom. According to reports, he was found inside the women’s restroom around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Sources said that after he was caught, the bank called the police and had him arrested. His house was also searched, and they found more than 400 videos of male and female co-workers either naked or taking a bath. However, he has already been released, and many workers are worried that the bank may not take strong legal action against him to protect its image.

Ejezie had joined Access Bank in February 2023 as a customer service agent and was later promoted to Quality Assurance Specialist in October. At first, his LinkedIn profile still showed that he was employed, but it was updated later that day to show that he no longer worked at the bank.

One worker explained that employees often have to sleep and clean up at the office because of their shifts. Ejezie was hiding in the ladies’ restroom when a woman noticed a phone recording her from a toilet cubicle. After raising the alarm, they found out it was Stephen hiding there.

Later investigations showed that he had been secretly recording videos for some time and selling them online through platforms like OnlyFans and Telegram, possibly to foreign buyers. Many of his co-workers are shocked because he seemed friendly and hardworking.

Employees are now panicking, fearing that the private videos might be leaked online. They are also upset that the bank is more focused on saving its reputation than protecting the victims. The management has banned workers from staying late at the office and warned that anyone caught doing something similar could face many years in jail.

However, many feel the bank is trying to cover up the scandal. Workers are traumatized, and some don’t even know if they were recorded. Sadly, no emotional support has been offered to them.

When FIJ tried to contact Access Bank for a comment, there was no reply at the time of publishing.
