Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has shared his prediction for this season’s UEFA Champions League final. With the tournament now in the semi-final stage, four teams are still in the running: Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Barcelona, and Inter Milan.
Arsenal will face PSG, and Barcelona will go up against Inter Milan in the semi-finals starting next week. But Keane believes the final will be between Arsenal and Barcelona.
Speaking on The Overlap, Keane said, “Arsenal v Barcelona final, it’s got it written all over it.” He also commented on how chaotic Real Madrid’s play was, saying they were constantly fouling and breaking the flow of the game.
The last time Arsenal and Barcelona met in a Champions League final was in 2006. Back then, Barcelona won the title by beating the Gunners.
Now, Keane feels history might repeat itself with another big Arsenal vs Barcelona final in May.
