Morocco has officially announced its squad for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations. Head coach Mohamed Ouahbi selected 26 players to represent the country in the upcoming tournament.
The team is a mix of local and international players. Notable inclusions are Stade Rennais defender Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal and FC Twente centre-back Julien Misbahi. Also, Union Touarga striker Mouad Dahhak, who has been impressive in Morocco’s Botola Pro 1, has earned a spot on the squad.
Morocco’s journey in the competition will begin on May 1 when they play Kenya in their opening match. Their second game will be against Nigeria, a team that has won the tournament seven times.
The 2025 U-20 AFCON will take place in Egypt from April 27 to May 18.
