You claim to be APC by day, hobnob with opposition at night – Bwala hits Ndume over ‘maga dog’ comment

Daniel Bwala, who works as the Special Adviser on Policy and Communications to President Bola Tinubu, has responded strongly to a comment made by Senator Ali Ndume. Ndume, who represents Borno South, called Bwala a “maga dog” during a recent interview on Channels TV.

In response, Bwala posted a message on his X (formerly Twitter) account, accusing Ndume of pretending to support the ruling APC during the day while secretly meeting with opposition groups at night. He also claimed that Ndume’s frustration is making him look older.

Bwala pointed out that Ndume was left out of a list of honored individuals from Southern Borno, suggesting that his behavior may be the reason. He accused Ndume of threatening people through his supporters whenever he is criticized and reminded the senator of past times when he helped him.

Bwala said Ndume once came to his office and waited for two hours when he needed support to become Senate President. He also reminded him of how thankful he was when Bwala supported him during a suspension by Senator Bukola Saraki.

Bwala said there was no need for insults, especially since Ndume is considered an elder.
