Enyimba’s goalkeeper, Ozoemena Ani, will miss their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match against Sunshine Stars on Sunday due to an injury. Ani got injured during their previous match against Abia Warriors last weekend and had to leave the field early.
Enyimba’s Technical Adviser, Stanley Eguma, shared that although Ani has started training again, he is not yet fit to play in the upcoming match. Eguma said, “Ani is back in training, but he won’t play against Sunshine Stars. We want him to take his time and fully recover before he starts playing in matches.”
Enyimba has won two out of their last five matches, while Sunshine Stars have not won any of their last five games. Enyimba is currently in 8th place on the league table with 46 points, while Sunshine Stars are in 19th place with 35 points.
