A tragic accident took place on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos on the night of April 10. According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency, the crash happened near the UNILAG Waterfront, heading toward Adekunle.

The accident involved a mini truck that seemed to have lost control, leading to a devastating crash. Unfortunately, the crash resulted in one fatality, although the name of the victim has not been released.

The traffic management team responded quickly to the incident, sending officers to the scene to control traffic and reduce delays. The agency worked hard to ensure that traffic flowed smoothly despite the tragic situation.

“A lone accident has occurred on the Third Mainland Bridge, near Unilag Waterfront, inward Adekunle, involving a loaded mini truck. Unfortunately, one casualty has been reported. Efforts are currently underway to recover the situation, while Officers are on the ground managing traffic to minimise disruptions” the statement read
