A Nigerian widow, Uba Chidinma Ugoji, has shared helpful advice for single women planning to get married. She said it’s very important for ladies to ask their boyfriends some deep and serious questions before saying “yes” to marriage.

Chidinma gave this advice based on her own painful experience. After her husband passed away, she claimed that his brothers took over their house and left her and her children with nowhere to live.

Because of what she went through, she wants single women to ask questions like:

• Does he have wicked or jealous brothers?
• What kind of family does he come from?
• Will his family respect you after marriage?

She believes asking these questions can help women avoid problems in the future, especially when dealing with in-laws. Her story is a reminder that marriage is not just about love—it also involves the families on both sides.
