A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered all sides involved in the case filed by suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and others to stop speaking to the media about the matter.
Justice Binta Fatima Nyako gave the order after Akpabio’s lawyer, Kehinde Ogunwumiju (SAN), complained that Senator Natasha had been appearing on different TV stations to talk about the case, which is still being heard in court.
The judge ruled that no one involved in the case, including their lawyers, should give interviews or discuss the case in the media. She also said the court proceedings should not be streamed or shared on social media.
The court wants to make sure the case is handled fairly and without public pressure.
