Mr Macaroni reacts as Delta State School of Nursing queries student who shared video of her colleagues singing a controversial welcome song for first Lady Oluremi Tinubu

Popular actor and activist, Mr Macaroni, has reacted to the news that a student from Delta State School of Nursing received a query for sharing a viral video. The video showed students singing a controversial welcome song for First Lady Oluremi Tinubu during her visit to the state on Wednesday, March 26.

During the preparations to welcome the First Lady, the event’s MC started singing, referring to Mrs. Tinubu as “our mother” with the lyrics:

“Na our mama be this, we nor get another.”

However, instead of repeating the words, the students responded differently, saying:

“Na your mama be this.”

This unexpected response quickly gained attention, with mixed reactions from Nigerians. Some praised the students for their boldness, while others criticized them for being disrespectful.

On Friday morning, reports surfaced that the school management had issued a query to the student who shared the video online. This action sparked further discussions on social media, with many questioning whether the student deserved to be punished for posting the clip.

Mr Macaroni, known for speaking out on social issues, expressed his views on the matter. His reaction adds to the growing debate about freedom of expression and how institutions handle such situations.

Reacting to this new development, Mr Macaroni wrote

‘’Delta State College of Nursing Sciences is threatening a student with disciplinary action because of song???
