Champions League: Pedri names team he’d want Barca to meet in final

Barcelona star Pedri has shared his dream opponent for the Champions League final this season. The young midfielder hopes Barcelona will face their biggest rivals, Real Madrid, in the final in Munich, Germany.

Pedri made this statement while promoting his new children’s book, Pedri y la leyenda de las botas de oro, which encourages kids to eat healthier. When asked if he would like a Clasico final, he responded confidently.

According to Barca Universal, Pedri said, “I would sign for a Barca-Madrid final in Munich. There is nothing to be afraid of. It would mean we reached the final. I am sure all the fans would love it. Being in the final is what matters.”

Barcelona has had an edge over Real Madrid in recent matches. Their biggest victory came in the Supercopa de España final on January 12, when they defeated Los Blancos 5-2 despite having a player sent off. Earlier this season, Barcelona also secured a 4-0 win at the Santiago Bernabéu.

If both teams reach the final, it would be an unforgettable El Clasico showdown for football fans worldwide.
