Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has highlighted six outstanding players in his squad as they prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.
Chelle is determined to guide the Super Eagles to another victory when they face Zimbabwe on Tuesday evening. The match will be played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo at 5:00 PM.
During a press conference on Monday, Chelle praised Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, and Sadiq Umar, calling them great players.
“Victor is a superstar, but we need to work as a team so he can score many goals,” Chelle said. “Every player in this team is a star. Alongside Victor, there is Boniface, Tolu, Umar, Lookman, and Chukwueze. We have many great players.”
He also emphasized the need for teamwork and a strong strategy to improve the team’s goal-scoring ability.
