The Nigerian movie industry has lost a talented actress.

Popular Nollywood actress Nkechi Nweje has passed away. Reports say she died on the morning of March 21 after a brief illness. However, the cause of her death has not been made public.

Many of her colleagues have gone online to express their shock and sadness over her passing. Nkechi Nweje was known for her roles in Nollywood movies, where she acted alongside top stars, including the late Junior Pope Odonwodo.

Her death is a big loss to Nollywood, and she will be greatly missed.
