12 arrested for hacking man to death in Kaduna mosque attack

The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested 12 people involved in a violent attack at a mosque in the Tudun Wada area of Kaduna South Local Government.

The attack happened during Tahajjud prayers at Layin Bliya, Makwa Road in Rigasa. A group of criminals from different areas stormed the mosque and stabbed 28-year-old Usman Mohammed, leading to his death before security forces arrived.

The police, working with the Civilian Joint Task Force, quickly arrested 12 suspects. Reports say the suspects confessed to being part of the attack. Authorities also found several weapons during the arrest.

A full investigation is now ongoing to find more details and bring all those involved to justice. Meanwhile, security has been increased around mosques, and the police are asking the public to stay alert and report any suspicious activities.

The Kaduna State Police Command has warned criminals to stop such acts or face severe consequences.
