Nigerian music star Wizkid has shared his excitement about the Super Eagles’ preparations for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Rwanda.

The team’s new head coach, Eric Chelle, led his first training session on Tuesday. Wizkid took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday to express his admiration for the squad. He wrote, “New Super Eagles team! Love the energy.”

The World Cup qualifier will take place at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday, March 21, at 5 PM Nigerian time.

After the match, Nigeria will return home to face Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday. The Super Eagles must secure victories in both games to stay on track for World Cup qualification.
