Enyimba’s technical adviser, Stanley Eguma, remains hopeful that his team will qualify for continental football at the end of the season. However, he admits they must work hard to achieve this goal.
The People’s Elephant played a 2-2 draw against Ikorodu City on Sunday, extending their unbeaten streak to four matches. While the result was positive, Eguma believes tougher challenges lie ahead.
Speaking after the game, he emphasized the need for focus and determination in upcoming matches.
“We take it one game at a time,” Eguma told Complete Sports. “We got a draw in Lagos, but now we must return home and work even harder. No match is easy; every game is a tough battle.”
The coach also stressed the importance of careful planning for the remaining fixtures.
“We have to stay focused until the end of the season. We still believe we can secure a continental ticket, but we must put in the effort. We are still on track.”
With the season progressing, Enyimba will need to maintain their form and fight for every point to achieve their goal.
