A heartbreaking tragedy occurred in Jigawa State as a young bride, 22-year-old Zainab Ibrahim, was brutally k!lled just five weeks after her wedding.

The incident happened on March 12, 2025, in Warware Quarters, Hadejia Local Government Area. According to the Jigawa State Police Command spokesperson, SP Shi’isu Adam, Zainab was found in her home with a deep cut on her throat.

She was discovered unconscious in a pool of blood. Despite being rushed to the General Hospital in Hadejia, doctors confirmed that she had passed away.

The police have started an investigation and are working to find those responsible for this terrible act. Authorities urge anyone with helpful information to come forward.
