Blaqbonez reacts to Reps’ order of porn sites shutdown

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has spoken out against the House of Representatives’ recent order to block all pornographic websites in the country.

The lawmakers instructed the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to enforce the ban, aiming to stop access to adult content nationwide. However, Blaqbonez believes this decision is not a priority compared to other pressing issues.

Sharing his thoughts on social media platform X, the rapper pointed out that adult films provide comfort to many people. He even mentioned popular adult star Destiny Mira, jokingly saying that she helps people through tough times.

“This country is funny. Destiny Mira, who helps us through tough times, and they want to ban her,” he wrote.

Blaqbonez’s reaction has sparked mixed responses online, with some agreeing with him and others supporting the government’s decision.
