International Women’s Day: Governor Uba Sani vows to give women equal opportunity

On International Women’s Day, the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, promised to provide women with equal opportunities to grow and contribute to society. He shared this commitment in a message on his verified Facebook page, emphasizing the importance of turning words into action.

Governor Sani praised women in Nigeria and across the world for their resilience, creativity, and determination. He acknowledged the struggles women face but also highlighted their achievements in breaking barriers and making meaningful contributions to society.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Accelerate Action: Turning Promises into Progress,” is a reminder that promises alone are not enough. Governor Sani stressed that real change comes from action. He assured that his administration is working to remove obstacles that prevent women from fully participating in the social and economic development of Kaduna State.

He also mentioned that his government has created strong legal frameworks to support women’s empowerment programs and projects. He believes that true progress can only be achieved when women have equal access to opportunities.

Governor Uba Sani encouraged everyone to work together in building a society where both men and women have the same chances to succeed.
