Rapper Offset has made new legal requests in his divorce case with Cardi B. The 33-year-old artist, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, is asking for joint legal custody of their three children—Kulture (6), Wave (3), and their six-month-old daughter.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Offset believes Cardi B’s home should be the children’s primary residence. However, he wants the court to define each parent’s financial responsibilities for child support.

He is also asking for a fair division of their marital assets and for both parties to cover their own legal fees.

Offset and Cardi B have had a rocky relationship, with multiple breakups over the years. Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, filed for divorce in the summer of 2023. This was her third time seeking to end the marriage.

She first filed for divorce in September 2020 but later decided to stay with Offset. When she filed again in 2023, a source told People magazine that the decision was not due to cheating rumors but had been planned for some time.

A friend of Cardi B revealed that the couple had been struggling for over a year before the filing. However, Cardi remains focused on her children and her music career. She is excited about her new baby and continues to record new music.

The couple, who often worked together on music, are now navigating their separation while co-parenting their children.
