Peter Obi Reacts To Rivers Supreme Court Judgment, Akpabio Feud And Osun Crisis

Nigeria is going through one of its toughest times. Poverty is rising, many children are out of school, and insecurity is getting worse. People are struggling with hunger, yet the country’s leaders seem more focused on political drama than solving real problems.

Instead of working on improving healthcare, education, and the economy, leaders are caught up in unnecessary controversies. There are allegations of sexual misconduct in the National Assembly, disputes over budget allocations, and court decisions that could weaken democracy.

The three arms of government—Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary—are more concerned with power struggles than with helping citizens.

In Osun State, the Executive is showing excessive political power. In Rivers State, a court ruling threatens democracy. At the National Assembly, a major scandal is making headlines.

All of this gives a bad impression of Nigeria’s leadership. Instead of providing solutions, these actions make governance look like a chaotic reality TV show.

Nigerians deserve better. Leaders should stop interfering in state affairs for personal gain. Politicians should also stop switching parties just to gain power unfairly. Leadership should be about serving the people, not playing political games.

Right now, millions of Nigerians are suffering. What the country needs is leadership with strong character, competence, and a real commitment to solving problems. Education, healthcare, and poverty reduction should be top priorities. Anything less will only push the nation further into crisis.

A better Nigeria is possible—but only with the right leadership.
