Peter Okoye, one half of the former music duo P-Square, has denied any role in his elder brother Jude Okoye’s legal issues.
Recently, Peter’s twin brother, Paul Okoye, accused him of trying to get Jude jailed. This came after Jude was remanded in prison by a Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos. He is facing charges from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over an alleged N1.38 billion fraud.
Peter, through his manager, Emem Kush, responded to the accusations in an interview with Saturday Beat. Kush explained that Peter’s petition was only against a company that had been handling funds on his behalf, not against Jude.
He added that the EFCC is responsible for the investigation and should be contacted for further details.
As the legal battle continues, Peter insists he has nothing to do with Jude’s case, while Paul has vowed to fight for their elder brother’s release.
