Popular social media critic, VeryDarkMan, has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of planning to arrest him. He made this claim in a video posted on his Instagram page.

According to him, the EFCC is trying to frame him because he spoke against its chairman, Olanipekun Olukoyede. He also alleged that the commission is using every possible means to set him up.

VeryDarkMan revealed that a well-known lawyer and a social media influencer recently visited the EFCC office. He claimed they took video clips and a picture of him spraying money to the officials. He believes they did this to give the EFCC a reason to go after him.

He further alleged that an EFCC officer confirmed that the agency is interested in taking action against him because of his outspoken nature. He said the officer mentioned that he had been criticizing the EFCC and speaking rudely about its leadership.

VeryDarkMan insists that the EFCC is working with others to frame him and get him arrested. However, he claimed that he has inside sources within the agency who keep him informed about their plans.

The controversy continues as many Nigerians react to his claims, with some supporting him while others question his accusations.
