Armed bandits attacked Malumfashi town in Katsina State on Wednesday night, February 26, 2025. The criminals arrived with heavy weapons, shooting into the air to scare people away.
Security forces engaged them in a gunfight, but the bandits managed to kidnap a man named Alhaji Balan Auwal and his son, Saifullahi.
This attack happened just two days after bandits raided Tafoki village, where they killed three people. The rising cases of bandit attacks in Katsina State continue to worry residents.
