I am a very happy man. Things are getting better – Tinubu says as he passes vote of confidence on APC leadership

President Bola Tinubu has expressed confidence in the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying the party is capable of building Nigeria and supporting Africa’s growth. He made this statement during an APC Caucus meeting at the State House in Abuja.

Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to the APC’s Renewed Hope Manifesto, saying Nigeria is on a positive path. He believes the country has the potential to play a key role in Africa’s development.

“We can shape the future of this country and make a difference. Nigeria is a great African nation that can contribute to the growth of the continent,” he said.

He also stressed the importance of food sovereignty, explaining that Nigeria must not only achieve food security but also become self-sufficient in food production.

Tinubu acknowledged the difficulties caused by some of his administration’s policies but maintained that these decisions were necessary for long-term economic stability. He pointed to the removal of fuel subsidies as an example of a tough but essential step to protect Nigeria’s economy.

“Our determination to deliver remains strong despite criticism. Some people may spread negative claims, but we remain focused on our mission,” he said.

Tinubu urged APC members to stay united and continue supporting the party’s vision for progress. He emphasized the need to build on past successes and push forward with plans that reflect the hopes and aspirations of Nigerians.

“I assure you that we are working hard to fulfill our promises. I am committed to our manifesto, progressive ideas, and the vision for a better Nigeria,” he stated.

Despite the challenges, Tinubu remains optimistic about the country’s future. “I am a very happy man. Things are getting better, and Nigeria’s future is bright,” he concluded.
