Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has revealed that he plans to get married this year.

The music star shared his thoughts on marriage after attending several weddings. He said these experiences made him reflect on his lifestyle and decide to settle down. Ruger, who is close to turning 30, made this known in a Snapchat post.

He wrote:
“Everybody is just getting married. Got me questioning myself—how long will I continue this Playboy shiii? I’m settling down this year, period. I’ll soon be 30, tf.”

This announcement comes as a surprise to many, as Ruger has previously expressed doubts about relationships. In a recent interview, he admitted that even though he is naturally a romantic person, relationships do not seem to work for him.

He explained:
“I am a loverboy. It’s just now that I understand that relationships don’t work for me. But normally, my first instinct when I see a girl is to think about how I can get serious with her.”

With his recent decision to settle down, fans are eager to see who Ruger will choose as his life partner.
