Hon. Prof. Obiageli Lilian Orogbu, the lawmaker representing Awka North/South Federal Constituency in Anambra State, has made a significant impact in just 18 months.
She has successfully completed over 12 projects, including renovating schools, constructing roads, and installing solar-powered street lights.
During the inauguration of a newly constructed access road in Umuawulu and Holy Family Youth Village, Hon. Orogbu expressed gratitude to her constituents for their trust and support.
She assured them that her leadership is focused on improving education, infrastructure, and human development.
Some of her notable projects include:
- Renovation of classroom blocks at Community Secondary School Achalla, Community Secondary School Okpuno, and Ogulube Primary School Ebenebe.
- Construction of 1km roads at Holy Family Road Amansea, St. Stephen Junction – Omoh Block Industry Mgbakwu, and Ogechukwu Street, Awka.
- Installation of over 400 solar-powered street lights across the 19 communities in her constituency.
Hon. Orogbu has also organized various empowerment programs to equip hundreds of constituents with valuable skills and opportunities.
She reaffirmed her dedication to education, human capacity development, and infrastructure growth. “Together, we can make sure our voices are heard and our needs are met,” she said, urging constituents to support her vision for a better Anambra and Nigeria.
Her impressive achievements have earned widespread praise. Former Anambra governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, commended her efforts and encouraged her to continue her good work.
