President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Dr. Saviour Enyiekere as the Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC). The appointment, announced by Tinubu’s media aide, Bayo Onanuga, on Thursday, will last for five years.
Before his appointment, Enyiekere was the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Senate President. He is an environmental specialist with vast experience in governance.
In addition to Enyiekere’s appointment, President Tinubu has also approved the selection of 12 members for the commission. Two representatives were chosen from each of Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
