Elon Musk has agreed to talk with President Donald Trump about a new tax refund plan called the DOGE Dividend. This plan could give every taxpayer a check, providing financial relief for millions of Americans.
The DOGE Dividend is a proposal that aims to save money through government efficiency and return some of those savings to taxpayers. The idea was introduced by Janes Fishback, the CEO of Invest Azoria. Fishback explained the plan in a three-page document shared on X (formerly Twitter).
Elon Musk responded to the proposal with a short but important message: “I will check with the President.
The proposal suggests the following:
- 20% of the savings from DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) would go directly to taxpayers as a refund.
- 80% of the savings would be used to reduce the US national debt.
If this plan is approved by President Donald Trump, every taxpayer in the United States could receive at least $5,000.
US Senator Ron Johnson has already expressed support for the idea. Now, many Americans are waiting to see if Trump will approve the plan and make the DOGE Dividend a reality.
