A Ukrainian drone attack on Russia’s Krasnodar region injured one person and damaged at least 12 houses, according to regional governor Veniamin Kondratyev. He described the attack as “massive” but did not share further details.
Reports from Russia’s SHOT Telegram news channel indicate that the drones may have targeted the Ilsky oil refinery.
The attack reportedly caused a fire at the refinery, which has been a frequent target of Ukrainian strikes since 2023. The facility processes about 138,000 barrels of oil per day and plays a crucial role in Russia’s energy sector.
Ukraine has not officially commented on the attack. However, Kyiv has previously stated that its strikes inside Russia are aimed at infrastructure that supports Moscow’s war efforts.
