John Mikel Obi, a Chelsea legend, is hopeful that Victor Osimhen could still make his dream move to Chelsea in the future.

Last summer, Osimhen nearly joined the Premier League club, but the deal couldn’t be completed. Instead, he moved to Galatasaray in Turkey on loan from Napoli.

Mikel shared his thoughts during an appearance on the Obione podcast. He explained that Chelsea has always been Osimhen’s childhood dream club. Growing up, he looked up to Didier Drogba, and the striker has openly expressed his desire to play for Chelsea.

Even though the deal didn’t happen last summer, Mikel believes there’s still a chance for Osimhen to make the move to Stamford Bridge.

Mikel emphasized that Chelsea is still a possibility for the 26-year-old, and he doesn’t think the door is closed for the Nigerian striker. With Chelsea still in need of a strong striker, this move could happen at the end of the season.
