Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde recently spoke about how an emergency surgery affected her body and confidence. In a video shared on her Instagram page, she reflected on the changes she experienced after undergoing gallbladder removal surgery.

Omotola, who previously revealed in November 2024 that she battled a life-threatening illness, shared that the surgery left her with scars. She admitted that she used to love her tummy, but it no longer looks the same after the operation.

During a photoshoot, she instinctively grabbed her top while posing, then reminded herself that her scars do not define her. She expressed her strong self-confidence, saying, “What will shake my confidence has not been created.”

The actress encouraged her followers by stating that scars—whether physical or emotional—are part of life. She embraced her journey with positivity, adding that she is grateful to be alive.
