A Nigerian woman, Nweke Modesta Chioma, has publicly accused her husband, Timothy Nweke, of infidelity and abuse.

In a Facebook post on February 9, Chioma claimed that her husband, who she says is a pastor, repeatedly brought his alleged side chick into their matrimonial bed.

She stated that when she confronted him about the affair, he not only beat her but also raped her. In her post, Chioma expressed her pain and anger, saying, “Timothy Nweke, God will punish you for beating me again in the name of marriage…you beat me every day and throw me out of the house several times. May God judge.”

Chioma also shared a photo of the woman she accused of being her husband’s mistress, urging her to stay away from her marriage.

She called out the woman for being an evangelist but having an affair with her husband, stating, “You claim to be an evangelist but sleeping with my husband…Christ holy church, see your evangelist husband snatcher.”

Chioma’s post has sparked conversations about betrayal and domestic violence, drawing attention to the complexities of relationships within the church.
