Elected officials and appointees from Delta North have decided to take legal action to regain the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial seat from Senator Ned Nwoko, who recently joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This decision came after a meeting led by the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme. Onyeme emphasized that Delta North must stay a stronghold for the PDP, stating, “We must ensure our position remains key in deciding elections in Delta State.”

The deputy governor also encouraged local government leaders to strengthen their connection with the people by supporting Governor Oborevwori’s More Agenda, focusing on projects that will improve the lives of the community.
