In an interview with journalist Edu Aguirre, Ronaldo was asked whether he considers himself the best footballer in history.

He replied confidently, admitting that while fans may prefer other legends like Lionel Messi, Pele, or Diego Maradona, he believes no one can compare to him.

Ronaldo stated,

“I think I’m the most complete football player that has ever existed. People could like Messi, Maradona, or Pele, and I respect it, but I’m the most complete.
I’m the best player in football history. I haven’t seen anyone better than me in football history, and I’m saying it from my heart.”

Currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo’s career is filled with incredible achievements.

He has won five Ballon d’Or awards, several league titles, and multiple Champions League trophies.

These accomplishments solidify his place as one of the sport’s best.

The only major title missing from his collection is the FIFA World Cup, though he has led Portugal to victory in both the Euro 2016 and the 2019 Nations League.
