Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has issued a warning to Nigerians about the growing risk of fire outbreaks across the country.
Speaking during the church’s February thanksgiving service at the Throne of Grace Parish in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, Pastor Adeboye urged people to stay vigilant and pray against possible disasters, including fires, storms, and floods.
He reminded the congregation of a prophecy given at the start of the year, which called for prayers against these natural disasters. Despite it being early in the year, Pastor Adeboye highlighted the increasing number of fire incidents worldwide, stressing that Nigeria must also be cautious.
He specifically warned farmers to avoid bush burning when preparing their farms. Pastor Adeboye emphasized that even a small fire can lead to bigger problems, urging farmers to take extra care during this season.
As he concluded, he prayed for divine protection and asked that God answers the prayers of all Nigerians, keeping them safe from these dangers.
