President Bola Tinubu has praised Most Superior Evangelist Taiwo Oshin on his remarkable 100th birthday. The centenarian has spent over 70 years serving in Christian ministry and continues to inspire many through his deep faith and dedication to his community.
Evangelist Oshin, known for his leadership in the Celestial Church of Christ for the past two decades, has made significant contributions to the church and the development of Ogun State. He hails from the respected Adegorushen Alaagbe family and leads the Lasunwo royal family in Ikorodu, Lagos.
In his message, President Tinubu recognized Oshin’s unwavering commitment to spreading Christianity and his role in advancing missionary work across Ogun State. This milestone is a celebration of his lifelong service and contributions to both faith and national development.
“For seven decades as a member of the clergy and as the second in command of the Celestial Church of Christ for the past 20 years, Baba Oshin has been a steadfast servant of faith and humanity.
“His contributions to spreading good Christian values and advancing missionary activities, particularly in Ogun State, have left an indelible mark on our nation,” President Tinubu stated in his message.
The President also commended Oshin’s life of service, faith, and leadership, celebrating the milestone of reaching 100 years.
“As you join the extraordinary league of centenarians, I celebrate your life of service, faith, and impact. On behalf of a grateful nation, I extend my best wishes for your continued sound health, joy, and fulfilment,” he concluded.
