Spotted shopping alone in Barcelona just a week after the divorce news became public, Cristina was approached by a reporter in the city center. With a smile, she answered questions about how she was feeling. When asked how she was doing, Cristina simply replied, “Perfecta, gracias,” meaning “Perfect, thanks” in English. She also added, “Everything’s fine,” when asked about her mental state.

While she appeared to be doing well, Cristina remained tight-lipped about the reasons for their split. There has been speculation that Pep Guardiola’s decision to extend his contract with Manchester City for another two years may have played a role in the separation.

Cristina and Pep first met in 1994 and got married in 2014. Despite their divorce, reports suggest that the two are still on good terms, and there are no third parties involved in their decision to separate. They continue to have a respectful relationship for the sake of their three children.
