The community of Nasarawa Gabas in the Dunkawa area of Sabon Birni Local Government, Sokoto State, is reeling from a fresh attack by armed bandits. Late Friday night, the attackers stormed the village, targeting homes and forcing residents to hand over food supplies and other valuables.

According to witnesses, the bandits, armed with rifles, went house to house, demanding items such as bags of food. Sources revealed that one of the attackers even spent the night in the nearby community of Idi, raising concerns about their next move.
