Comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has taken a swipe at Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. This came after skit maker Mr Macaroni publicly stated that he would continue to avoid the governor.
The controversy began when Mr Macaroni, responding to a comment on X (formerly Twitter), said he has no intention of interacting with Sanwo-Olu. His declaration caused a stir online, with fans expressing mixed reactions.
Seyi Law, reacting to the situation, sided with Mr Macaroni. He claimed the governor often ignores him in public but goes out of his way to seek recognition from Mr Macaroni.
On his X handle, Seyi Law wrote:
“Nobody should blame Macaroni for the way he speaks to Gov. @jidesanwoolu. Gov. BOS will see me and act like he doesn’t know me, but he will be begging Macaroni for a handshake. Everybody get out.”
The comedian’s remarks have sparked further discussions about public figures and their relationships with politicians, with fans divided on whether these criticisms are justified or exaggerated.
Seyi Law’s comments reflect the ongoing tension between entertainers and political leaders, a topic that continues to grab public attention.
