The Lagos State government has completed the upgrade of five key roads in Ikeja GRA as part of its ongoing urban regeneration program. These roads—Oba Dosumu Street, Oduduwa Way, Oduduwa Crescent, Sobo Arobiodu, and Sasegbon Streets—have been reconstructed to improve traffic flow and enhance connectivity within the area.
This project is not just about smoother roads; it also includes improved drainage systems designed to tackle flooding and erosion. These enhancements will help reduce traffic congestion, make the roads safer, and increase property values in the neighborhood.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu highlighted that this development reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring no community is left behind in the vision for a Greater Lagos. Through projects like this, the state continues to prioritize infrastructure that positively impacts residents’ lives.
With these road upgrades, Lagosians can look forward to better living conditions and easier movement in Ikeja GRA, further cementing the area’s reputation as a key urban hub.
