A 45-year-old teacher, Stella Nwadigbo, has been arrested after she was filmed physically assaulting a pupil, Abayomi Michael. The incident took place in Lagos when the pupil could not write his numbers correctly.

The spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the arrest and shared the update on Instagram. He stressed that justice must be served and that such actions in schools would not be tolerated.
