Engr. Muhammad Diggol, who served as the Commissioner for the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation in Kano State, has stepped down from his position. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has accepted the resignation, which is effective immediately.
The announcement was made on Sunday through a statement by the Governor’s spokesperson, Mr. Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
Engr. Diggol began his tenure as Commissioner for Transportation when Governor Yusuf’s administration started in 2023. Later, he was reassigned to lead the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation, a role he held until his resignation.
Governor Yusuf appreciated Engr. Diggol’s commitment, hard work, and service to Kano State during his time on the executive council. He also extended his best wishes for Diggol’s future endeavors.
The Governor’s office praised Diggol for his efforts in advancing the state’s development goals. However, no immediate announcement has been made regarding his successor.
This development marks a leadership change in the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation as Kano State continues its focus on development.
