A tragic incident struck Kuchibiyu Community in Bwari Area Council, about 42 kilometers from Abuja city center, on Monday afternoon. An explosion at an Islamiyyah school claimed the life of one student and left four others injured.

The explosion occurred around noon, causing panic in the area. Emergency response teams, including the police bomb disposal squad, quickly arrived at the scene. The injured students were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical care.

So far, neither the school authorities nor the spokesperson for the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Josephine Adeh, has released any statement regarding the incident.

This tragedy has shaken the community as they await further updates from the authorities on the cause of the explosion and measures to prevent similar occurrences.
