Gov Abdulrazaq, Emir mourn late SSG, Saka Issau

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family and associates of the late Alhaji Saka Isau, SAN, the former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), who passed away on Saturday at the age of 69.

In a statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor Abdulrazaq paid tribute to the late Isau’s dedicated service to Kwara State. He highlighted Isau’s roles as the Attorney-General, Commissioner for Justice, and his significant time as the SSG. The governor prayed for Allah’s mercy and asked that Isau be granted a place in Al-Jannah Firdaus. He also prayed for strength for Isau’s family during this difficult time.

The Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, also mourned the loss of Isau. In his statement, the Emir expressed sadness over the passing of one of Ilorin Emirate’s most distinguished legal figures. He praised Isau’s unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the state, which led to his appointments as Attorney-General and SSG in past administrations. The Emir offered his condolences to Isau’s immediate family, extended family, the government, and the people of Kwara State, acknowledging the great loss to the community.

The loss of Alhaji Saka Isau is deeply felt across the state and among his many associates, leaving behind a legacy of service and dedication to the people of Kwara.
