In Agbarha community, Delta State, a drinking competition turned tragic, leaving two people dead and two others hospitalized.

The participants were competing for a prize of one hundred thousand naira (N100,000). Reports indicate they consumed large quantities of what is believed to be alcohol in an attempt to finish it quickly. Sadly, two individuals collapsed and passed away on the spot.

Two other participants are currently receiving medical care at a hospital. Local police have not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.

This tragic event serves as a warning about the dangers of risky competitions and excessive alcohol consumption.
