EPL: Not good enough – Mikel Obi blasts Man Utd players, gives verdict on Amorim

Former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, didn’t hold back in criticizing Manchester United players after their recent 2-0 loss to Newcastle United.

The Red Devils suffered their fourth straight defeat, with Newcastle dominating them at Old Trafford.

Alexander Isak got the first goal just four minutes into the game, and Joelinton added a second in the 19th minute, sealing a comfortable win for the Magpies.

“It’s hard to watch them, even if you’re not a United fan. They’re playing horribly. Newcastle could’ve been 3-0 ahead in 20 minutes. It was a disaster,” Mikel said on his podcast, Obi One.

However, Mikel came to the defense of the manager, Ruben Amorim, calling him “a fantastic and brilliant young coach.”

He added, “The problem isn’t with the manager. The players at Manchester United aren’t good enough to play for such a big club.”
