Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have officially ended their eight-year-long divorce process. The two Hollywood stars finalized their divorce on Monday, December 30, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Despite reaching a settlement, one issue remains unresolved: the ownership of a French chateau they once co-owned.

Jolie’s lawyer, James Simon, shared how difficult the process has been for her. “Angelina is truly exhausted,” he said. “She filed for divorce over eight years ago and left all the shared properties behind. Since then, she has focused on finding peace and healing for her family.”

The divorce case started in September 2016, just two years after the couple got married. Brad and Angelina had been together for a decade before tying the knot, but their marriage came to an end sooner than many expected.
