Nigerian troops kill two notorious bandit leaders, Ma’oli, Kachalla Muchelli

The Nigerian military has made significant progress in its fight against terrorism and banditry in the North West region. Recently, troops from Operation Fansan Yamma conducted successful missions in Katsina and Zamfara States, taking down two notorious bandit leaders.

In Katsina State, the troops carried out an operation in Mai Sheka village, located in Kunchin Kalgo town. During this mission, they neutralized several terrorists, including Alhaji Ma’oli, a well-known bandit kingpin. Ma’oli was infamous for criminal activities like imposing illegal levies on communities such as Unguwan Rogo, Mai Sheka, Magazawa, Unguwar Dan Halima, Unguwar Dan Mairo, and Katangan Yamma.

In Zamfara State, troops of Counter Terrorism Team 7 (CT 7) clashed with bandits along the Bilbis-Danjigba axis in Tsafe Local Government Area on December 25. During the confrontation, Kachalla Muchelli, the leader of the Kuchi Kalgo bandit camp, was neutralized.

These operations are part of the military’s ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorism and restore peace to affected regions in Nigeria.

The successes in Katsina and Zamfara reflect the commitment of the Nigerian armed forces to ensure the safety of citizens and bring an end to insecurity in the country.
