A fire broke out at the Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO) office in Oshodi, Lagos, near Cappa Bus Stop. The incident started around midnight on Christmas Day and continued into the early hours of Boxing Day.
Firefighters from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, working with the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA), have been trying to put out the fire since it started.
Although no lives have been lost, the fire has caused severe damage, destroying property worth millions of naira. Rescue teams are working to stop the fire from spreading to nearby offices and buildings.
Efforts to control the blaze are still ongoing, and authorities are monitoring the situation closely.
