The All Progressives Congress (APC) is honoring its National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, as he marks his 75th birthday.
Ganduje turned 75 today, December 25, 2024.
The party praised the former Kano State governor, calling him a skilled leader and experienced politician.
According to a statement by APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, Ganduje played a key role in ensuring the party’s electoral successes nationwide.
“We celebrate a smart leader, administrator, scholar, philanthropist, and politician who has excelled in many public roles. Dr. Ganduje’s strong and forward-thinking leadership has helped our Party achieve great electoral victories and remain Africa’s largest political party,” Morka said.
He also mentioned that Ganduje’s inclusive leadership style has strengthened unity within the APC and helped the party support President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The APC noted that under Ganduje’s leadership, the party has improved its membership registration process and set up a progressives institute to enhance policy development.
“During his time as National Chairman, our party has made big achievements like digitalizing membership registration, creating a Progressive Institute, and working closely with the government to fulfill electoral promises,” Morka added.
